Stacy Peralta-Age : 20, Team : Gordon & Smith, Specialty : All around skater.
A Professional rider since 1973, Stacy Peralta is one of the most well known and weIl Iiked skateboarders in the business. Always a top contender in all events, pool and bank riding (anything vertical) is his favorite. He toured Australia in 1976, the U.S. in 1977, and Europe in 1978. He starred in the movie "Free Wheelin“. Stacy says, "Skate in parks and wear your safety gear“.

Jamie Hart-Age : 27, Team : Fat City & Santa Cruz Skateboards, Specialty : Slalom, Downhill.
A relative newcomer to Professional skateboarding, Jamie bas been seen in such competitions as Del Mar, Hang Ten WorId Championships, Marine WorId, Cow Palace and Berkeley as an amateur. His 2nd place finish at the Catalina Classic established him as an up-and-coming PRO. Jamie’s balanced, firmly held tuck resembles the aerodynamic position of John Hutson, the winningest PRO racer for 1977.

Mike Williams-Age : 26, Team : Gullwing, Belair, specialty : Slalom.
Mike has a deep involvement in skateboarding. He is the originator of the Gullwing and Phoenix trucks. He designed the Torsten-Hallman line of skateboard safety equipment. An original La Costa racer, he took 1st place in the Hang Ten at Carlsbad in 1976 in the Speed Run. At that same event his team won the Cross Country Relay. He bas been to Europe promoting his products.

Steve Schissler-Age : 21, Team : Turner Summer Ski, specialty : Slalom.
An original Turner Team rider since 1975, Steve has been skateboarding for four years. He bas competed in every major West Coast slalom race since 1974. In addition to his skateboarding, he's a musician. He bas played the bass guitar for fifteen years. Steve is also into surfing. Steve says, "Skate safe and practice hard".

Randy Smith-Age : 27, Team : Kryptonics, specialty : Slalom, Downhill.
Ten years of skateboarding makes Randy one of the “oldtimers“ in the sport. He has done a number of demonstrations, exhibitions, and safety clinics. Randy's skill and proficiency in skiing has dramatically inspired his skateboarding performances. He has placed “in the money“at events in such places as Boulder, Vail, Aspen, Breckenridge, Dillon, and Long Beach.

Ed Nadalin-Age : 22, Team : Hobie, specialty : Freestyle.
In 1975, emerging in a virtual unknown, Ed captured the attention of the skateboarding world with an undisputed 1st place in his first amateur contest (HangTen Pro/Am). He has won four out of his first five contests against the best skaters in the world. He has had roles in such movies as “Goin' Surfin“, "Downhill Motion“ and “The Magic RoIling Board" as weIl as being featured in a commercial for Pepsi Cola. |
